Vocaloid : Love Colored Ward

Hello guys !

I know I haven't been blogging much and this blog has been secretly turning into a place where I post all my cosplay photos . OMG . I feel kinda guilty too . /smacks self . I have so many things to review but frustrated as hell because well , iphone 4 photo kinda sucks when it comes to self-portrait . . . How I wish a camera will fall from the sky . ( which is very unlikely to happen * sobs * )

Long story short , I had three photoshoots planned for the beautiful month of July and two out of three is completed ! * v * YAY ! Although the scary part is yet to come . . . August and so on will be much more " happening " .

This is the first cosplay photoshoot I had for the month of July this year : Love Colored Ward from Vocaloid . It's a very cute song !

I made this costume for Luka last year when I attended AFA X with Jaq Lavena as my Rin . Didn't get much photos from the event because there were so much happening around ! ( was busy looking at lovely merchandises and AFA Regional Cosplay Competition ) So we planned to have a full group this year and did our photoshoot with Angie as our Miku and Akiyumi as our Meiko !

Have been thinking hard where to do our photoshoot and we were fortunate enough to get permission to shoot at Tenshi No Cafe ! Tenshi No Cafe is a maid cafe located at e@Curve . The meido working there was lovely and being very helpful . After the photoshoot , I ordered Mango Shaved Ice and it's really yummy ! * thumbs up *

I know right . I don't have much pictures to post because this photoshoot was a really short one due to time constraint ! Anyways , I still love these photos to bits . For Cosfest Day 2 , my partners and I decided to do costumes from Macross Frontier's latest movie , " The Wings of Goodbye " or also known as " Sayonara no Tsubasa " ! It took awhile for us to decide on which version to do because all the costumes are too beautiful ~ * v * . My Ranka was in love with the Magician ver. so I took the White Navy ver. to match her . I'm super lucky this time because I get to have Yumi as my manager , Grace !

About the costume : This is my first time making pants . I don't really like wearing pants because I have fat thighs so this costume is kinda challenging for me . :-/ Not forgetting that it's pretty hot to wear because I'm fully wrapped up from head to toe like a present !

This costume is pretty easy to draft : a jacket and a high waist pants . I enjoyed making the jacket the most ! Love all the gold buttons and gold laces on the sleeves . I spent quite a lot on the gold trimmings but it's all worth it ! :-) The pink tube top inside was purchased from a night market near my house .

About the flag - The flag pole is made by Jaq Lavena , much thanks to her I can have a flag pole . The flag itself is made out of cotton fabric and the patterns on the flag are made out of velveteen ! The Boots - OMG . I have been waiting for so long that I thought it wouldn't reach on time . Luckily it did arrive if not I would have to change plans . D;

Yumi made such a wonderful Grace ! * v * Too bad we didn't stay long enough to take group pictures together . Everyone seems so tired . Especially my Ranka who stayed up whole night to finish her costume . She had to change back after an hour because she's not feeling well . Anyways , we'll be having a photoshoot end of this month ! Can't wait ! 8D

For Day 1 Cosfest this year , I'm super happy and excited that I finally get to debut my default Anarchy Panty costume ! ( which has been stuck and ready in my wardrobe since March lol ) . Initially Jaq and I have different plans for Day 1 , unfortunately materials and other stuff that we ordered couldn't arrive on time . So we switched to doing the default version instead !

I am really glad to have See Jun as Brief in our PSG group ! Gosh , he make such a cute and in-character Brief ! He source and modified his own costume , made all the little details for his costume and made his backpack too . In addition , he made us Stocking's sword and Panty's Backlace too . Thanks !

Plus , Jaq is such a cute Stocking . I can't wait for our photoshoot ! Anarchy sisters Yeah !

About the cosplay costume : Making the default version of Panty is quite easy and the pattern is simple to draft . I enjoyed making dresses so it's really fun . The gold necklace was a chain belt I got from Times Square for Rm 9.90 . The bangles was a gift from B . The earrings ! Okay , the earrings was made out of soft wire , red ribbon and spangles from Daiso . I do not wear earrings and never get piercings before so it's double taped on lol . It stay on for hours and it works :-x Red nail polish is from Daiso too !

Panty with Stocking with Garterbelt is one of the anime that I can watch repeatedly without getting bored . Every episode is so funny and the latest OVA is super troll ! Will definitely be doing more versions of PSG soon ~to me it's as addictive as Sheryl Nome lol

Gosh , it's so difficult for this old me to portray " moe " . Summore I secretly hope that I can still cosplay Cardcaptor Sakura ! After this shoot I have given up in my Kinomoto Sakura dream . Many thanks to Raz for encouraging me to show some teeth when smiling lol . I have this tiger-like fang so I don't usually smile with teeth . So it was definitely something new :-)
