Hello Everyone !
Today I'm feeling hardworking enough to update my blog ~ as you all know , it's my first time visiting Japan ! Thanks to my Princess Hermes who has the best luck in the world , she won a pair of tickets to Nagoya earlier this year and she shared this prize with me !
I like Japanese stuff a lot like manga / anime / games / cosplay and their food as well but so far I'm only able to watch about Japan through Youtube or look at pictures online. It's such a blessing that I'm able to visit Japan finally !

We are flying via Vietnam Airlines.
Vietnam Airlines doesn't have a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Nagoya so we had to fly to Hanoi and transit to Nagoya. It was an interesting experience for us because we never take Vietnam Airlines before lol.
But guess what ? We have like 40 KG luggage allowance which like most airlines only give a 20 KG or 30 KG at most. So I'm really grateful for this because I'm never a light packer unlike Hermes lol. I always pack like I'm leaving for months !

Thank God it's not for check in or else she won't recognize the bag anymore after the plane ride lol. This kinda pretty luggage , you must always hand carry lol.
Surprisingly despite the not so good rating , I enjoyed flying with Vietnam Airlines a lot.
We are constantly fed with food and snacks and you can drink all you want lol.
They even provide blankets and pillows for your comfort if you wanna sleep.

The leg space is quite generous too.
My legs are quite long so I suffered a lot flying with low cost airlines lol.
Jammed like sardines but for short distance flight still manageable.

Unfortunately , I couldn't sleep much because The Princess is reading beside me.
A fact about me , I couldn't sleep if there's light. Not even a tiny bit or else I won't be able to sleep lol. Princess has insomnia so I forgive her , it's okay lol.

We arrived Hanoi almost midnight and we have to wait for a few hours for our flight to Nagoya. We have wifi so it's okay. WIth Wifi , that few hours of wait is ok.
I think we spent our time playing Tsum Tsum !
Another 6 hours of flight to Nagoya.
The best thing is ? We get to watch the sunrise from the plane !
It's gorgeous !
Like I said , Vietnam Airlines fed us well lol.
I like their bread a lot !

Finally we arrived Nagoya , Japan !!
OHHHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED GREETED BY ALL THE JAPANESE POSTERS AND WORDS THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND LOL.

First thing we got is the Portable Wifi !
Though people say that when you travel you shouldn't have internet or else you will always be on the phone and don't get to enjoy fully - but I think we will die without internet lol.
Second most important thing is the Train Card !
Princess said that we will travel a lot using train so let's get a train card so it's easier to move around. We got ourselves a 4000 yen train card !

My first time taking a train in Japan !
It's very usual for Princess because Japan is almost like her second home lol.
She goes to Tokyo very often and this is her first time to Nagoya.
Without her I think I will be lost in the abyss lol.
As an excited first time traveler to Japan , I took photos of anything and everything.
I feel a little shy but hey it's my first time going to Japan of course I'm super stoked haha !
I think every anime / manga fan would someday hope to travel to Japan at least once !
Sakae Station.

We booked our hotel via Agoda !
My first thought as I step out of the Sake Station was , " OMG WHY SO HOT ONE. "
Princess once told me that Summer in Japan is like 10 times hotter than Malaysia and I didn't take it seriously. Malaysia is hot , but Japan is definitely hotter.
When I'm outdoors , I felt like as if the sun is piercing my skin. It's that hot. Once you go out maybe you won't sweat but you'll feel super sticky. Everytime I'm back in the hotel , I can't wait to go for a cold shower lol. #truestory

It looks pretty from the photos online and in real life it looks good too !
But we didn't get to check in because we arrived Nagoya at 8 am lol. It's too early and the check in time is 3 pm so we dropped our luggage at the lobby and went out for breakfast !
The Legendary 7-11 of Japan.
The legend says that the food in Japan's 7-11 is super good that you will want to eat it everyday. Being there , I can confirm that the legend is true my friend lol.

When my friend tell me that traveling to Japan is expensive because of the food and things here are expensive , to be honest I don't think it's expensive at all ! It's pretty affordable , you can choose not to eat at restaurants or cafe that often which the food are more expensive. I saved lots of money having breakfast and dinner at 7-11 lol !
My fav food in 7-11 is their 100 yen onigiri ! It's delicious and filling ! I enjoyed their barley tea very much too ! ( I bought the same thing everyday lol )
DIsney Tsum Tsum seems to be very popular in Japan !
We play this everyday back in Malaysia lol
Princess and I didn't sleep well for the past 24 hours and I think we look like hobos especially when we don't get to freshen up in our hotel.
Me : So where to now ?
Princess : Nagoya Castle la. We can go there till 3 pm and go back to our hotel later.
Me : Kay , swee.
So we took a train to the Nagoya Castle.
It feels like in the anime where you can hear bug sound " krik kri krik krik ."

It's a long a hot stroll underneath the sun and we didn't bring umbrellas or even wear a hat.
( which we learnt our lesson and bought umbrellas later at night lol )
After we bought our tickets , we saw this cooling-looking shed.
We were like , " Ahhh let's sit here for awhile. "
I think we spent like 40 minutes here just sitting and enjoying the breeze.

It's so hot here in Nagoya that my phone got hot too while I was snapping pictures lol

First up , The Hommaru Palace.
They are still restoring it at the moment but visitors can still go in !
The interior is really nice !
All the paintings and drawings on the door , though I'm not really sure what it is but it's really pretty ! Princess and I didn't get much sleep earlier on and after walking under the hot sun , we weren't really sure what we were looking at anymore lol.
The restoration of the Hommaru Palace is funded by donations.

Lot's of snacks and refreshments for sale because they know that it's super hot and people need food lol. Unfortunately Princess doesn't eat Matcha Ice Cream so we skipped this ice cream stall lol. It looks good though !
Vending Machines are everywhere in Nagoya.
Won't need to worry that you'll get dehydrated !

Finally , Nagoya Castle !
We started off from the highest floor , which is the 7th floor and slowly walked down and visited each floor !. The view from the top floor is awesome !

I don't have a hat or an umbrella but I have sunglassess bae bae lol.
After visiting the Nagoya Castle , Princess wanted to go shopping !
She said that it's summer sales in Japan so shopping will be very cheap !
I've never been to shopping in Japan but people always say that things in Japan in expensive lol. Princess said otherwise. She said , " You must trust me because I'm the one who goes Japan often ! "

Hello Kitty is everywhere in Japan.
Can't help but to think of Soo Weai everytime I see a Hello Kitty product , I will snap a photo and send to her lol.
A tip to be Princess's Boyfriend.
1. You must have good taste because she will ask you which one looks nicer .
2. You must have enough stamina and patience to wait for her shopping.
3. Must have enough muscles to carry her shopping stuff.
If you can do all this , congratulations you are 50 % qualified already lol.
( Princess don't kill me lol )
WEGO is one of my fav brand in Japan !
I always think that Japanese clothes are expensive but the price range is similar with H & M in Malaysia. For me it's still not that expensive , the quality is good too !
I bought like 4 tshirts from WEGO and loving it !

For the fujoshis , lots of BL Novels and Mangas in the bookstore lol

It's about 3 pm and we head back to hotel for some rest !
To my surprise our hotel room is pretty good , more than good but great actually !
Princess said that hotel rooms in Japan are very small so I was expecting the worse case scenario lol. Our room is the smallest room but it's still bigger than expected !
The washroom is pretty decent too , with soap / shampoo / toothbrush / hairdryer provided .
They have a bathtub too ! I love our hotel room very much !
( I've stayed in worse hotels so this is like a blessing for me lol )
The bed is great too.
Just nice for two of us.
I fall asleep almost instantly on this bed every night !
I slept for 3 hours before heading out for a walk at night.
Was super sick while I was in Nagoya and the lack of sleep and heat is not helping lol.
Still , I'm very excited to walk around.
At least night time it's not that hot !

Oasis 21.
The place where the World Cosplay Summit Nagoya will be held !
I'm surprised that our hotel is within walking distance to the event area.
Loving our hotel more and more now !

I'm really excited about the World Cosplay Summit because I've been watching it on Youtube for many years and it's such a dream come true being able to come here and watch the actual thing ! The event area is super pretty at night !

Almost 3000 yen Phone Case.
One thing I regret not buying in Japan are all these cute phone cases.
I don't see much Iphone 5S cases in Malaysia because everyone has an Iphone 6 now lol. But in Japan there are lots of Iphone 5S cases , super regret not getting one !
Sailormoon merchandises are everywhere in Nagoya too.
There were too many choices that I end up buying ... nothing lol.
I hardly spent any money on Day 1 because I was worried that I'll run out of cash.
I didn't have much Japanese Yen because the money changer here won't accept Ringgit Malaysia lol.

Nagoya at Night !
We had Coco Ichibana for dinner !
It's really near our hotel and we are too tired to look for other restaurants so we gave this a try ! ( I'm not a fan of curry rice though , I like udon and ramen more ! )
I had Pork Katsu with Level 1 spicyness !
I'm not very adventurous because I can't take spicy food so to stay safe ,
Level 1 for me ! XD
It's quite yummy , I enjoyed the pork katsu very much !
It's very juicy and crispy !

After that we head back to 7-11 for some snacks.
Ahhhhhhh , my fav ice cream is so cheap here !
It's about 120 Yen in Nagoya and RM 6 in Malaysia whoops !
That's the end of our Day 1 in Nagoya !
I'm quite amazed at myself , I didn't sleep well the day before and I had flu and cough but I still managed to enjoy myself. Than God for blessing me and I didn't faint on the road or something. Or else Princess also cannot save me because she is so small sized !
