Hello Everyone !
ANIMAX Carnival Malaysia is my first event as a cosplay guest for this year ! Always a pleasure to be working with ANIMAX ~ my first experience was Hong Kong Halloween Treats back in 2011 and it was really fun to be able to visit Hong Kong during Halloween month !
This time I'm invited as one of the cosplay guest judges alongside Arisa Chow , Yuki Godbless and Jiaki Darkness from Thailand. I'm cosplaying as Uka-sama from Inari KonKon Koi Iroha with Arisa as my Inari ! It's my first time meeting Yuki and Jiaki , they are well known for their amazing costumes - plus they are really friendly ! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
Arisa made Kon-chan to go with her Fushimi Inari cosplay too ! It is mad adorable !

This year's ANIMAX Carnival is bigger and better compared to the previous years !
It's held in MidValley Mega Mall Convention Centre , with lots of booths to keep their visitors entertained ! It was really packed and people starts queuing as early as 9 am ! Anime fans are super passionate people ~ ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

It's such a heart-warming anime , with great emphasis on relationships and friendships. Definitely one of my fav anime this year !
They even built a Dedication Booth for visitors to make wishes for their loved ones !

Did you know that Inari KonKon Koi Iroha is based on a real shrine in Kyoto , Japan ?
The whole setting of the anime is in the town where the " Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine " is. It's a collaboration between Shrine and the Kyoto City government , fully supported the making of this anime !
How lovely if I can visit the shrine Japan one day and bring along my Uka ! It would be a dream come true ! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

It's always an honour to be invited as a guest cosplay judge ! I had a wonderful time watching the cosplay performances and everyone is so creative and came prepared. I really admire the amount of effort and craftsmanship they put into their costumes and props. Good job guys !

My Uka-sama costume roughly took one month to complete.
One of the costumes that I'm really happy with , besides my Queen Esther from Trinity Blood ! This costume has many layers - two layers of Gi , one hakama , an apron and a skirt with long train. The skirt is made detachable so it's easier for me to move around during breaks !
My favorite part of the costume is the skirt/train , with more than 70 ++ flowers , all handmade and hand-beaded with pearls and crystals ! It took me few days to make all the flowers but it's all worth it , I love how it looks as a whole ! (❁´‿`❁)*✲ﾟ*

One of my fav part of the anime is the OP and ED songs. The OP song is by May'N , my goddess ! The ED song is by Maaya Sakamoto , whose voice is equally awesome ~ (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I loved the crowd very much , everyone is so passionate about anime and all the anime fans unite together in this lovely event ! Especially when everyone screams " ANIME DAISUKI ~~~ !!! "
How much the Japanese anime/manga/cosplay culture have expanded throughout the years in Malaysia ~ I'm really happy that so many people are enjoying anime/manga/cosplay now ! Long live anime !! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*
