Coffee Cottage Cat Cafe @ SS15

Hello everyone !

Do you know that there's a cat cafe in Kuala Lumpur ?

Cat Cafes are really popular in Taiwan , Japan and Korea ~ I like cats a lot and my house is a cat farm itself ( I have 6 cats ) but I do enjoy meeting other cats as well ! Always wanted to visit cat cafes but the nearest one to me is in Singapore.... 

So I was super excited when Angie told me that there's a cat cafe in KL @ SS15 !! 

Hermes , Angie and I finally have time to visit the cat cafe together last Friday ❤

The cat cafe is called Coffee Cottage @ SS15.

It's really easy to find this cafe because it's just behind the famous Burgertory and beside Expresso Lab ! 

Welcome to Coffee Cottage !

The interior is very warm and cosy.

Perfect place to hang out with your friends !

The cats are in another separate room , so even if you don't like cats , you can come for a cup of tea and have a piece of yummy cake !

Coffee Cottage serves mainly coffee , tea and desserts ~ It feels something like Starbucks but comes with lots of lovely cats ! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

Here are the rules for the cat cafe !

I'm used to being surrounding by my cats at home , so when I visited here , I'm kinda sad that the cats are running away from me lol. Some really enjoy being touched but some just wanna take cat naps ~ so please treat them with love ! 

Be realllllllly gentle with the cats ok ?  ( ﾉ^ω^)ﾉﾟ

Sanitize your hands before you go inside the cat room , wouldn't wanna bring in bacteria to the fluffy kitties ! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

My no.1 fav cat in the cat cafe ! Look at him , so playful lol !!

Let me tell you a funny story , at first when I saw his back ( not his face ) I thought that he's a normal orange tabby. Little did I know that actually he is a .... Persian Cat . LOL . I never seen one in real life before , only in books and internet so I was kinda ... excited !

We ordered some cakes and drinks , you need to order at least a drink to be inside the cat room ! I had caramel cheesecake , it was yummy but I would recommend their tea more than the ice mocha I had. Hermes ordered the tea and it smelled like ... heaven lol. (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

Do you know that cats spend most of their time napping ? (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Not sure whether it's a he or she ( didn't inspect /shy ) but she/he is really gorgeous ! Love the fur pattern ! (❁´‿`❁)*✲ﾟ*

Hermes says that this is the most beautiful cat in the whole cafe.

Yes , I agree that the fur is very long/ silky but he is kinda ... unfriendly lol !!

He looks like , " What you want ah , can you pls go away human ?? "

If not I can only refer them as " this cat , that cat " lol.

This one likes to nap a lot , and the rare moment she wakes up , I am able to scratch her body a bit and snap her photo ! ヽ(^。^)丿

I would highly recommend you to visit this cafe if you really like cats or you just wanna chill and have a cup of tea. I had lots of fun during my 2 hours here , you'll enjoy it more if you really like cats ! Was fangirling the cats all the way that I think Hermes and Angie is afraid of me lol.

Cosplay Tutorial | How To Make Ribbons Bows

Hello Everyone !

I'm back with another simple costume making tutorial ~ It's one of the common elements in cosplay costumes , and you can see it all the time in any anime / manga / games ! It's something that I enjoy making a lot , it's Ribbons or also known as Bows ! (｡´∀｀)ﾉ

Making ribbons is really simple and you can make one in like 15 minutes ? Here's what you need , the measurement varies - depending on how big the bow you want it to be :

Piece A ( 2 x pieces ) = 10 x 12 Inches

Piece B ( 2 x pieces ) = 8 x 20 Inches

Piece C ( 1 x piece ) = 2 x 5 Inches

Here's how it looks like when you sewn the two pieces together ! It's a simple stitch , just sew along the line and turn it inside out. I love playing with the materials to make my bows look more interesting , I layered my usual matte satin with a thin sequinned fabric to make it for sparkly because it's a Love Live costume ! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

So now , put Piece A over Piece B , around in the midpoint of both pieces.

Place Piece C on top of Piece A !

Hold Piece C so that it can form a loop to hold Piece A + Piece B together !

Hold it with a pin at the back ~  (≧∇≦)/

.... and check the front of the bow. Sometimes it might be too tight or too loose , you can make some adjustments before stitching it up ! 

Here , you can see that I'm using a blanket stitch ! For tiny places like this , it's better that you hand sew for neater finishing ! 

Ta-da ~~~~~~~~ It's done !! (❁´‿`❁)*✲ﾟ*

As you can see here , the bow stands out much more because of the layering of fabric that I choose ~ you can play with different types of fabric to create a different look / feel !
